Frequently Asked Questions
EYELASH EXTENSION FAQ:
Q-What are Eyelash Extensions?
A- Eyelash Extensions are individual synthetic lashes. They are attached to your natural eyelashes individually. Once the lashes are applied you do NOT need to use mascara OR curl your lashes EVER again. It is a very meticulous service that requires great attention to detail. Once applied correctly, these lashes are so natural looking it is hard to tell even up close that you have extensions on. We offer many different lash options to our clients . Our lashes have a variety of curl and thickness available to create the PERFECT lashes you've always wanted!
Q-I've heard Eyelash Extensions will damage my natural lashes, is that true?
A- If the Beauty Specialist is not properly trained, Eyelash Extensions could possibly damage your natural lashes–leaving you with ugly bald spots. It will depend on the skill of your technician and the product used. There are people who call themselves Eyelash Extension specialists, without having obtained training. We always have ACTUAL photos of our clients! So you can be sure it is OUR work you are viewing and know what to expect when you come in. In the lash industry you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! If you pay $50.00 for a set of lashes, count on getting a quick in and out and give me your money type of job. I have fixed NUMEROUS "cheap" Eyelash extensions and hate to see people disapointed with their lashes! Don't be fooled by low prices and quick gimmicks!
Q-How long do the Eyelash Extensions last?
A-The Lashes will stay on your lashes for your remaining natural lash life; A natural lash life cycle is 30-60 days. Most people shed 1-2 natural lashes, per day, per eye. Once your natural lashes fall out, you will begin to grow a new lash to replace the one that fell out. Our Eyelash Extensions can stay on up to 60 days with proper care and forever with monthly maintenance. Regardless, the way you care for your lashes will affect how long the lashes last.
Q-What I should do before Eyelash Extension appointment
A- 1. Make sure to remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with a mild, oil free cleanser
2. Do not use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to the application.
3. Please don’t put on any mascara the day of your appointment
4. Be sure to remove contact lenses and wear glasses to your appointment, or bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive at your appointment.
5. Set aside 2 to 3 hours for your full set appointment & 1 hour for your fill appointment. It is a very relaxing procedure.. Don't be surprised if you fall asleep and then wake up with AMAZING lashes!
Q- I love my Extension! How do I take care of them?
A-The first 48 hours following your application are most important. Be careful not to rub your eyes, pull on your lashes, or roughly scratch your eye. Also, many facial products contain oils that can loosen the bond of the lash extensions. Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area. In the shower, try and avoid direct water spray on your extensions, do not allow use a steam room, swim, or wash your face directly with hot water during the first 48 hours of the application. You will have NO use for an eyelash curler, your Eyelash Extensions will curl your lashes, do not use a regular Eyelash curler, it will break both the lash extension and your natural lashes. You will also have NO need for mascara ever again either! However, if you find you MUST put something on your lashes, please be sure and get a Mascara that is NOT waterproof. Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face, gently clean around the Eyes with a wash cloth, facial wipe or fingers.Do not pull on your lash extensions, it may take out your own natural lash as well. Feel free to contact us if you come across any other questions or concerns.

A-Permanent Cosmetics, also referred to as micro-pigmentation, cosmetic tattooing or dermal-pigmentation, is a process whereby completely natural pigments are implanted beneath the epidermis (top layer of skin), into the dermal layer (second layer of skin), by micro insertion. This technique has been medically developed and specifically designed for a safe permanent application. The pigments used have been specially formulated for cosmetic application. Q-s it safe?
A-Allergic reactions to permanent cosmetic procedures are extremely rare. Disposable sterile needles and surgical gloves are used for each procedure. However, micro-pigmentation is a skin invasive procedure. It is extremely important to consult an experienced professional technician who is licensed, qualified and conscientious.

Q-How much does permanent cosmetic make-up cost?
A- Please see the Beauty Services offered page . The average cost per procedure varies normally charged at $150 to $250 per hour. The cost of the procedure should not be the most important issue when consulting a potential technician. Always insist on seeing pictures of work done for previous clients. Check to see that eyebrows and eyeliner have been applied evenly.
Q-Are Permanent Cosmetics truly permanent?
A- A variety of factors influence the longevity of Permanent Cosmetics.
Ultra-violet exposure from sun or tanning booths, various drugs, excessively dry skin, and smoking are all factors that may affect this. Alpha- hydroxy, Retin-A, and glycolic acid must be kept away from treated areas. These kinds of substances slough away top layers of the skin and eventually the layer that the pigment has been implanted into.Use of these kinds of substances will require additional maintenance in years to come. Sunblock on eyebrows, sunglasses for eyeliner, and SPF on lips will greatly prolong the effective life of these procedures.
